Porch Projects: Robin in Residence

Things have been slow around the Ear, as I've been focussing on projects away from home. However, we realized a few days ago that someone else is interested in moving and making her own changes. A robin has built her nest on our front porch, right by our front door!



We can stand on our stairs and watch her progress through our transom window. See the black and red smudge? That's her, flying out to get some more nest supplies.



Here she is on the nest. We think she started sitting on it on April 12, so in a couple of weeks there might be some babies in there.
